According to IBtimes.com, an Apple insider revealed that S5 would sport a 32-bit processor and not 64-bit processor like Apple iPhone. Analysts are predicting that Samsung will house an Exynos 5430 processor based on Samsung’s 20-nm process. As far as wireless charging goes reports from Android insider say that Samsung will not go ahead with its plans of magnetic resonance charging as the integration is not materializing for now. In its wake to beat Apple iPhone 5S and upcoming iPhone 6 Samsung may incorporate biometric fingerprint scanner in S5. Known KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that though there is no novelty in bringing finger scanner on S5, it may help the Samsung flagship beat Apple iPhones. “Fingerprint is necessary for a star model,” Mr Kuo wrote in his note on AppleInsider “Because Apple’s iPhone 5S and HTC’s One Max have fingerprint, S5 the star model can’t lack the function even [if] the solution (area type same as iPhone 5S’s provided by Validity) is not as mature as iPhone 5S’s,” the analyst added.
